What you should know
Behind the toy
At this age a puzzle just means working out which hole a piece goes in. The lid has twelve openings and the box comes with twelve matching shapes. The lid is hinged, so a child can get the pieces back out without an adult — and opening and closing it quickly becomes its own game. The pieces are deliberately chunky: easy to grip, impossible to swallow. Rounded corners, water-based paint.
Getting started
Keep the box
Hold on to it for a week in case anything needs to go back.
Check for loose parts
Before handing it to a small child, and again every few weeks.
Clean it simply
A damp cloth and mild soap for hard surfaces. Never soak anything electronic.
Store it dry
Away from damp and direct sun, it stays good for years.
